My name is Cory and I have been a hairstylist in the Sarasota area for nearly 15 years. I studied the art of Cosmetology at Sunstate Academy of Hair Design and received my certification in the State of Florida in 2001. I specialize in custom multi-tonal hair coloring and precision hair shaping, as well as formal styling, blow-outs, and custom hair extensions. In 2004 I received my certification as a hair extension specialist from GreatLengths USA; the world’s leading brand of hair extensions. These 100% human hair extensions are silky and gorgeous. I can customize each strand to blend perfectly with your hair color so they are virtually undetectable!! If you are looking to add length, add volume, or add color without damage to your natural hair, then let's chat about your options!
If you're a Bride-to-be and you're looking for a stylist who understands how to create ANY style for your big day, then I'm your man. I have been making brides beautiful for years. I feel that the thing that sets my work apart from the rest is my ability to not just "give a good up-do" but to draw inspiration from your personal style. I want to see the dress! I want to hear all the details! I want to hear your stresses and anxieties! All of this helps me to know the perfect style for you. I am available on location for your entire wedding party! Please call for a consultation!
When I'm not making my clients beautiful, I like to hang out with my amazing wife, Darah and two incredible boys, Judah and Asher. I have a background in the performing arts as well so I often perform in many local theaters in Sarasota and Manatee Counties. I love to travel and see new places and meet new people. I go to New York several times a year to get my fix of all The City has to offer from the theaters of Broadway, to the trendy neighborhoods of lower Manhattan; all of it inspires the artist in me, making me a better and more well-rounded stylist.
One of my great joys in life is making things BEAUTIFUL! It's always been a passion. (Just ask my mom, her furniture was rarely in the same spot for more than two weeks when I was a kid...haha!)
