Originally from New Jersey, I grew up in a family where several members were stylists. I always seemed to know that I would one day follow their passion and become a stylist too. I worked most of my career in NJ where I worked as a Master Stylist and manager doing marketing and training.
In July 2010 I moved to my vacation home permanently, bringing my talent and passion to Sarasota Florida. On December 6, 2012 I became the owner of e'Lan. I believe my success as a stylist comes from working hard to listen and understand what each client wants. I enjoy meeting new people and I like to form a relationship with each client where we communicate well so that I can meet their expectations.
In June 2016, I merged e'Lan and LUXE Salon and Day Spa, proudly partnering with Korey Kleish. Our merger brings together a unique group of talented stylists with access to education and support, as well as a newly designed and beautiful salon environment. As the co-owner of LUXE I take pride in providing clients with excellent service. I am a certified master colorist from Clairol and Wella and a trained Pravana colorist, as well as a certified stylist with Marcia Teixeria. I have taken cutting classes in NYC with Frederic Fakkai, Jingles, Joico, La Coupe, Scruples, Nick Arrojo. and many others. I attended the international hair show in NYC yearly and participated in countless educational classes and seminars.
I am currently working with Tutto Color and Pravana color, as well as PRORITUALS, REF, and Soma Organic products for my client's needs. I prefer to use HED Smoothing System or Chi enviro to smooth clients hair, but have worked with many company's Keratin smoothing products. Although I use formaldehyde and aldayhyde free treatments, I am currently using a Fume Extractor from Salon Pure or a Fume Iron from Izunami to assure my clients have no health concerns.
While living in New Jersey I enjoyed working with the amazing makeup artist Lauren Tomasetti and specialized in creating Bridal styles for many beautiful brides in the tri-state area; many were featured in the Knot.
